Adele is the queen of the Grammys! Berlangsung di Staples Center di Los Angeles, ternyata ramalan kemenangan besar Adele untuk Grammy kali ini seolah sudah dijangka walaupun menerima tentangan sengit dari Beyonce. Adele berjaya membawa pulang keseluruhan 5 grammys kali ini di mana beliau memenangi kategori-kategori besar seperti Record Of The Year dan Song Of The Year, untuk lagu Hello serta Album of The Year untuk album 25. Selain itu, Adele turut mengungguli kategori persembahan pop solo terbaik dan album pop terbaik.

Turut mencuri tumpuan adalah persembahan tribut Adele kepada penyanyi lagenda, iaitu George Michael di mana semua hadirin berdiri di akhir persembahannya, walaupun Adele terpaksa menghentikan seketika persembahannya itu kerena tersilap susunan dan key. ‘I cant messed it up for him’, itu lah kata-kata Adele yang ternyata tindakannya itu mendapat respon dan tepukan gemuruh dari penonton.

Walaupun Beyonce menerajui senarai pencalonan dengan sembilan kategori, namun Beyonce hanya mampu untuk membawa pulang dua grammys, iaitu untuk kategori Best Urban Contemporary dan Best Music Video untuk Formation. Namun persembahan memukau Beyonce turut mencuri tumpuan di mana beliau menyampaikan lagu-lagu balad penuh emosi seperti Love Drought dan Sandcastles dari album Lemonade. Tambahan pula, ini adalah persembahan pertama beliau di pentas besar selepas mengumumkan kandungan kembar beliau lebih kurang dua minggu lepas.

Turut menggungguli senarai penerima anugerah Grammys adalah Drake dengan dua kemenangan, Chance the Rapper yang memenangi Best New Artist serta David Bowie yang turut menang besar dengan kemenangan 5 grammys untuk Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance, Best Recording Package, dan Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.
